The issues are not about Studio mk2 rather than unfinished MPC Software. you can do a workaround for changing sequence, go to Generic Midi mapping and find Step Sequencer Current Bar > map it to any other midi controller and you can start using sequences properly -> just knob or two buttons on MPC Studio mk2 mapped to this and problem resolved, but nobody can do it, only Akai adding a small 1024x768 touchscreen will not make it Live II as MPC Software does have very small UI controls and they are not for touch control individual note editing on Studio mk2 is practically impossible mouse controls are tiny, mouse wheel does not work, you need to click small buttons ![]() ![]() cannot change sequence number ( Step Sequencer Current Bar ), so sequencer is useless the integration with software is not the same experience, while on all other MPC you can navigate using the MPC itself, here for 50% of tasks you have to use the mouse But missed time window for returns (and now regret it). It arrived DOA (light pads not responding, only midi out work, no midi in via USB). I tested Live II and then bought Studio mk2.
